For sale is a modified Halo Recon helmet kit. This was designed and built by me, with a modified forehead sniper/optics pod, increased armor along the top, and a communications/Electronic Warfare rig built into the back with intakes located high and cooling vents in the rear of the helmet. None of this is functional of course but it looks pretty sweet, and is most certainly unique.
As a former Army Scout, I thought about what I would want were I able to design my own Spartan gear, and increased optics placed high so I didn't have to expose myself fully, and increased comms/EW detection ability topped the list, along with a little bit of extra armor up top since counter-sniper duty can be a rough business ;)
This is cast in smoothcast 320 polyurethane plastic and will come fully trimmed and sanded for you to paint as you wish and then install the other parts (which only requires a glue gun). Comes with a trimmed visor of several varieties. All you need is a glue gun to install the visor. I have a size 7 1/2 head, which is pretty big, and this fits very closely on me.

It's smoothcast plastic and a motorcycle visor, and has openings on it that are plenty wide enough for you to lose an eye or suffer other permanent or debilitating injury from a ricochet bouncing around the inside and smooth cast is not designed to absorb impact like most functional helmets thereby reducing the injury to the wearer. Purchase of this absolves the maker from all liability for any injury, death, or accident that results while worn.
